No other god besides Jehovah who gives all explanation

Lots of people do think they are not able to understand God’s Word without the explanations of theologians. They are mistaken and have a wrong idea about the Divine Creator Who is a God of order and clarity.

From the beginning of creation the Maker of everything let His Voice resound in the universe. He wanted everything to hear His Voice. He also came to make human beings in His image and wanted that they knew Him and listened to His Voice, His commandments, His statutes and would follow His Wishes.

Being created in the image of God each human being has certain elements or qualities of God in him or her. Every created human being has something in him or her which has the quality or feeling of the Divine Maker. As such every human should be able to feel that there is a Divine Creator. He is the Father of universe Who let His Voice hear and let His products of His Hands show the wonders and glory of His Majesty.

Wherever people dwell they can look around them and see the wonders of nature. Nature can speak for itself. In the magnificent glory of the universe every human being should be able to recognise the Hand of God.

Those who are willing to seek the Lord God shall be able to find Him whenever they shall seek Him with all their heart, and with all their soul in their affliction.

Deu 4:29 NHEBJE  But from there you shall seek Jehovah your God, and you shall find him, when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Deu 30:1-3 NHEBJE  It shall happen, when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, where Jehovah your God has driven you,  (2)  and shall return to Jehovah your God, and shall obey his voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul;  (3)  that then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples, where Jehovah your God has scattered you.

2Ch 31:21 NHEBJE  In every work that he began in the service of God’s house, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.

Psa 119:2 NHEBJE  Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.

Jer 29:13 NHEBJE  You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.

In the beginning of times nor in the old times there where people who called themselves theologians or had the idea that they alone could truly understand the Words of God and give people insight. Those who claim to be the only ones who can fully understand the Bible and give the only right explanation are passing God’s Words and forgetting that it is God Himself Who calls and gives insight.

To come to know God we can look around us and see what nature has to offer us. We should open our eyes and see the micro-cosmos with its many wonders. Becoming aware of the nissim or miracles in nature we shall be able to recognise the invisible Hand of God.

Jehovah also has raised up for us prophets, men of God, His servants who wrote down God’s Words and tried to help people find the Most High Lord of the universe. Jehovah of Hosts, the Elohim of Israel, wants us to find Him and has taken care that His words were correctly written down and delivered from one generation unto the next.

The Elohim has gone forth to take to Himself a nation from the midst of a nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by battle, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that He, the Most High of all beings, shall be known as the One Who Is The Being Itself, the I Am Who Is’ or “I am that which I am” [ayah ashar ayah. This is not His Name, but it is an explanation that leads up to the revelation of His Name in v. 15, namely: יהוה  {Jehovah}] Who did so many things for those who lived on the earth, so that they could come to see Who is behind it all.

Elohim His a strong hand and outstretched arm we should allow to come over us. We should allow it that by great fearsome deeds, according to all that יהוה  {Jehovah} our Elohim has done in the past we shall get to know Him better by having our eyes and ears open for Him more than for human words and tricks. When opening ourselves for Him He shall let Him be known and shall recall to our heart that יהוה  {Jehovah} Himself is Elohim in the heavens above and on the earth beneath; there is none else beside Him.

God has at all times given His Words and has provided means so that people could find Him and could come close to Him. The only thing what He requires is that people listen to Him and guard His laws and His commands which He has given to man and which are recorded in the Book of books.

Deu 4:34-40 NHEBJE  Or has God tried to go and take a nation for himself from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that Jehovah your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?  (35)  It was shown to you so that you might know that Jehovah is God. There is no one else besides him.  (36)  Out of heaven he made you to hear his voice, that he might instruct you: and on earth he made you to see his great fire; and you heard his words out of the midst of the fire.  (37)  Because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought you out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt;  (38)  to drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as at this day.  (39)  Know therefore this day, and lay it to your heart, that Jehovah he is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is none else.  (40)  You shall keep his statutes, and his commandments, which I command you this day, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land, which Jehovah your God gives you, forever.

Exo 3:14 NHEBJE  God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” and he said, “You shall tell the children of Israel this: ‘I AM has sent me to you.'”

Jehovah gave His remembrance to all generations and His Word’s notated in the Holy Scriptures should be sufficient for us to come to knowledge. when we are willing to hear God speaking to us in His infallible Word, the Bible, we should not worry about learned scholars, theologians or not being sufficient educated to find and understand God. God does not hold back necessary information for any body. He wants to give everybody, learned or not educated the chance to find Him and to worship Him.

God stretches out His Hand and, like all that Jehovah our God did for His people in Egypt before the eyes of the world, He is still present to bring trials and signs and wonders and even war, with an outstretched arm and with great and awesome deeds. Many may find it strange God allows fighting and wars going on, but may not forget that man himself wanted to be master of the world and arrange everything themselves. It is up to man to take care of their own life and their own environment, though those who want God near them, God shall not leave them abandoned but shall come to their guidance and help.

With the Holy Scriptures we have been given a very handy tool and a manual for life. We all are shown the wonders of God in order for us to acknowledge that Jehovah is the God; there is no other God besides him.

Exo 15:11 NHEBJE  Who is like you, Jehovah, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

We should trust God and follow His words. No other man or god besides Jehovah shall be able to  give all explanation and would be mightier or better than the Word of God itself.

It is by reading the many books of those prophets that we can come to know God, His Works  and His son, who also used those books to explain what he came to do and to show who the Messiah was.

Luk 24:26-27 NHEBJE  Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?”  (27)  Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

Luk 24:31-32 NHEBJE  Their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished out of their sight.  (32)  They said one to another, “Weren’t our hearts burning within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?”

Luk 24:44-45 NHEBJE  He said to them, “This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled.”  (45)  Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.

Like in the old times many persons their eyes may still be closed. Many people their minds are also still closed. Our minds may like the apostles their mind still being covered with the same veil as they read the books of the old covenant. We should know that it are not the theologians who are going to remove that veil because it is removed only when a person is joined to Christ.  Even today, whenever they read the Law of Moses, the veil still covers many so called ‘Christians‘ their minds.  But it can be removed, as the Scripture talks about Moses his veil being removed when he turned to the Lord Most High. Also at the time that Christ Jesus was afraid for what was going to come he wondered why God had abandoned him and cried unto God. We too like Christ can call unto his heavenly Father and in the same way as Christ found guidance from God in the Holy Scriptures, we too can find guidance in it. God’s Spirit accompanied Christ Jesus who was keeping to the Word of his heavenly Father, the Only One God. Like him we, when letting the Spirit come into our heart can find liberation of human doctrines and find freedom.

Those who call themselves followers of Christ Jesus should listen to his words and to the words of the heavenly Father Who sent Jesus to this world. Those willing to become a Christian should get to know the Holy Scriptures like Jesus knew the Scriptures very well.  With uncovered faces, not afraid to take the words of the Bible like they are written down, we should reflect the glory of God  יהוה the Spirit, and where the Spirit of יהוה {Jehovah} is, there is freedom, finding transformation into His likeness in an ever greater degree of glory.

2Co 3:14-18 NHEBJE  But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.  (15)  But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.  (16)  But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.  (17)  Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  (18)  But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Isa 29:18-19 NHEBJE  In that day, the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind will see out of obscurity and out of darkness.  (19)  The humble also will increase their joy in Jehovah, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

In an other discussion about the Word of God and theologians a protestant called ‘Bart’ writes:

Modern Progressive Christianity has very little to do with the Bible.

The Christians of old were not soft weaklings like you usually find in churches today. Men like Martin Luther, Augustine, Athanasius, John Knox, John Bunyan, etc. were actually men of strength and character. The Biblical men of old were not soft wimps – Abraham/Isaac/Jacob/Moses/Joshua, the Judges, Kings like David/Solomon/Josiah, the Apostles Paul/Peter/James/John etc. were strong men of conviction. Above all, the Lord Jesus Christ, the God Man, was a real man.

Even conservative “Bible believing” Evangelical and Fundamentalists churches are full of soft weak effeminate men these days. The mainline liberal churches are beyond that. They are pretty much hopeless, having completely abandoned the Bible.

Michael Sebastian writes in “Why Is Modern Christianity So Wimpy?“:

If you are an atheist or an agnostic, you may be asking, “why should I care about Christianity? Isn’t all religion irrelevant?”

It’s a fair question. The answer is that religion is always part of the human experience. If a society loses its faith in its predominant religion, something else replaces it. In ancient Rome, a loss of faith in the Roman gods led to the spread of various cults.

In modern civilization, a loss of faith in Christianity has not resulted in a society where people have adopted pure logic as the sole rule of their lives. Instead, after they lose their faith most people adopt leftist causes with a religious fervor that makes a snake-handling Christian Pentecostal seem like a paragon of reason.

It are theologians and politicians who had their own agenda and wanted to have people on their site and for their cause or their community. Lotys of people thought and still think human beings have the solution to organise the world and can create for them a better society. They often forget only the theocracy of Jeshua shall be able to live up to our expectations.

Michael Sebastian talks about “Christianity” but really means “Christendom” when he reminds us not to forget that, regardless of whether we like it or not,

Christianity” is the religion of the West. If it were healthy, our culture would never have reached this degenerate state of affairs. To make any headway against the current decline, we’ll need to understand how Christianity arrived at this point.

From the 4th century onwards Christendom got itself in a “tangle” joining the Roman emperor Contantine his ideas to assure more power. The joint knotted with the men of the world had to bring in several twisted ideas to come into conformity with the Trinitarian option taken. As such God for example suddenly got a mother, and so there came in several Biblical ideas which had to be solved with human ideas which when they where so difficult to believe became called a doctrine to be taken as a matter of creed and proof of faith.

Throughout the ages the Roman Catholic Church used the same system as ISIS is using now to bring people to their faith system, though the religious teachers of that time found it best to introduce everywhere the traditions of the regions where they were preaching and tying to get converts. That way many heath teachings were taken over in Christendom and feasts adapted to local traditions, which gave light to holidays like Christmas (of the goddess of light) and Easter (Estra, goddess of fertility).

With time the institution “Church” got its ‘learned scholars’ who took charge for providing enough material to bring people away from the Word of God. At a certain time it was even forbidden to read the Bible.

When confronted with some theologian views and with what is written in the Bible people become even more confused. When seeing that often others things are written in the Bible people still prefer to keep to their old teachings brought to them by their pastor and theologians which they do seem to trust more than that Book of books, of which for their excuse they often say that it is a translation “written by that denomination” not comprehending that God Himself is Master of His Word and protected it at all times. But this way they find a way out not to have to change their attitude.

Frequently, Christians do not demonstrate any changes in their lives that flow from their belief. They’ve become soft Christians: they are Christian up to the point where they are asked to sacrifice something because of their belief. At that point, they simply capitulate.

We cannot ignore that it are the theologians who are responsible for the mess in Christendom.

Most Christians are woefully ignorant of the reasons for their beliefs. Most of the blame can be laid at the feet of the clergymen who fail to teach anything during their sermons, but lay people are guilty too. After all, how hard is it to pick up a book to understand what you believe and why you believe it?

      Today many people are getting

caricatures of Christian doctrine instead of the real thing.

We can find theologians, clergy who are pulled from one site to the other and even come in situation they come to admit they even do not believe in God, though they still keep working for their institution or church. How can they guide man?

The other way around we also can find atheists becoming a believer of one sort. Throughout the world religions we can find conversions taking place.

An Anonymous person asked J.S. Park an atheist turned Pastor:

How do I get over my fear of man? I know what ultimately matters is God’s opinion of me. Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. I feel constantly misunderstood, or I make decisions out of fear, not love because I’m afraid of what others might think of me. I don’t give in to surface things like peer pressure, but it’s more of deeper things like what people think of me in ministry and my integrity. Am I idolizing my reputation? How can I care less what people think of me?

By most people belonging to either non-believers or to believers we may find the fear for the reactions in their environment.

      The converted atheist Parks responds:

I believe this has been one of the most problematic issues my entire life, and I wish I could say I’m over it, but it’s not easy. Dear friend: It’s impossible not to think about what other people think about you. So if you trip over yourself or accidentally fart in public, then you can act as cool as you want, but you’ll be screaming to death inside. And that’s natural. We are relational creatures, and there’s no getting around the need to please people. Allow yourself a bit of breathing room here.

That space to develop and to feel at ease is what many are afraid to give themselves. But those who want to come to the faith in Jesus Christ, should come to believe and see that it is best to put away their shame for others and their fear for others. They should know that in the end no man can go so far with them as God can do.

We shall not ignore or contradict that it needs some courage to pursue. changing ideas and attitudes demands a strong position of the person him- or herself. for somebody looking for God it is even more difficult. they shall have to face opposition and more often it is theri fear for man that does them hesitate to continue theri study. But they should not fear men.

It takes time, patience, practice, and God-empowered grace to overcome this — and it often happens in layers. While I still feel the burning needle of other peoples’ opinions lodged in my heart, I’m also not as controlled by other opinions as I once was. You don’t have to rush the process.

      says Parks.

We may find lots of theological books and many theories about faith in the book-stores. But all those theories shall take a lot of time to go through. There is a much easier way to come to the Truth and that is just by taking to the letters or writings God has sent to the world.

Lots of people like attention and love to be able to discuss matters with others, and talking about the bible or going into discussion with the Bible in the hand is not such a liked thing for many.

      Parks advices:

there is a process. I’ve learned over the years that whenever I feel the attention-seeking, people-pleasing, self-condemning fear, I break down this anxiety into several logical parts. It requires a discipline by the grace of God to really dig in.

And gives some things to consider every time you feel the pressure.

      1) You can’t make everyone happy. It’s not happening.
      2) Not everyone’s opinion of you is the right opinion, so don’t give every opinion the same value.
      3) Even if everyone totally loved you, that still won’t satisfy your need to please them.
      4) Even if everyone disliked you — what will that actually do to you? Will you spontaneously explode? Will you randomly flip off the stairs? Should you find them and shove your head up their butt until they like you?
Hebrews 13:6 says — So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
Our greatest fears are almost always exaggerations of reality. If you take people-pleasing to its logical end, it makes zero sense.
      5) No one is thinking of you that much. This is a psychological fallacy called the “spotlight effect” that’s been proven. When your pants fell down while you were singing the church solo, the church talked about it for a few minutes and then went on with the rest of their day.
I’m not trying to be mean here: but you’re not the main character in anyone else’s story. People are mainly worried about themselves, so even your most embarrassing moments are only your moments.
      6) Everyone has a vision for your life, and it’s not always a good one.
      7) You will gain enemies. People are going to dislike you. It doesn’t matter how clean you keep your reputation: there will be gossip. It bothers me too: but that’s life.
      8) You’ll spend a lot of time trying to please others, but only God is truly pleaseable. He’s already accepted you through His Son. Everything else demands from you, but only God says you’re already qualified.

The world has to know it is there by the making of the Most High Divine Creator, the Elohim el-Shaddai Who allows the things to be and has provided those who are created in His image to hear His Words which give full guidance. The God of order and clarity loves His creation of which you are part. Why not trust Him and rest in Him?

Ultimately, there is nothing that people can give you or take away from you that will ever trump the infinite love of God. If you can get even an ounce of that awesome truth through you, then He will uppercut your soul back to confidence. Our insecurities are always microscopic in light of God’s overpowering glory.

Though you might be shaken by the world, within God’s strength you can never be completely out of orbit.

When you open your heart to the Scriptures you will find that it shall tell you a lot. When it does not agree with what you ever heard from theologians, go deeper in the book of books, the Bible and try to compare different verses in the Book which shall bring more clarity. When you notice a difference of sayings between Scriptures and theologians, trust your inner feeling and go by the heart, trusting God, and believe that what is written in the infallible Word of God, the Bible.

Out of the Abundance of Struggles the Mouth Speaks

The theological instinct is to pronounce on Godness as seen in every corner of the earth; from its atoms, its bacteria, its microbes right through to the grandest and most beautiful of what theologians call God’s earth. They do not have enough words. God is so everywhere; to be indulged through their senses, but as equally indescribable in their imagination. Their special flesh of God is too tough for heathens and too sweet for the ordinary ones. Inscribed on their tombstones are the words “The theologian has done his best to present himself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth”.

Beneath them the believer and his and her God imagines a resonating loving echo, a loving reflection of their mutual bond unbroken through death and the eternal life of the soul. Of course God wills humanity to respond to His messages of love with an ever grateful and responsive love for Him. God’s want is to have working in humanity a sense of free beings manipulated by His will, their good deeds reflecting His glory, His work. But God, as a mind, must ever be disappointed. News of humanity’s behavior arrives daily in Heaven through the echoing of sonic vibrations of car woofers, instead of the faint echoes of prayer. By the way unbelievers do not exist for they can’t understand how these echoes are supposed to work.

All who sin must provide God an active and spontaneous response to them through a reflective dialogue of penance. The wrath of God was an Old Testament myth written to divide His love between warring tribes. Meanwhile the New Testament lover of God, an individual less prone to prejudice, sees no wrath, no condemnation, only love, big, wholesome Jesus love. This new dialogue of love is without prejudice, discrimination, bigotry and lust. Only this kind of love can describe itself as love. God’s love will reveal itself when it is returned to Him in the exact same condition as He gives it. Once this love is eternally recurring it will save the human world from itself. It has not happened in past generations but there are many generations yet to come; generations of believers in love with the idea of the love of God. The other mob, the unbelievers, well, they will continue to fend for themselves, their feelings troubled though warmed by a Godless conviction.

This loving self is as free as God directs unless there is no God, in which case the self guided self loves and loves less, and owns all the consequences. This is unthinkable to believers, who imagine that serving oneself is serving God, and this conditional serving is to be rewarded with eternal life, after repentance and God’s forgiveness for their sins. It is conditional on this kind of humanity to behave in this way. To regard each other as they would themselves, as for example in the feeling of empathy. Such a fundamental need could not be unless God hath breathed it into the hearts of human beings. It could not have come from nothing, could it? Surely this emotion is much too timeless for it to have been created by humans as they learn it!

Strange that humanity is responsible for its actions, yet its freedom to act on the misuse of its responsibility is restricted by the judgment of God as laid down in human words. The freedom which God has given to humanity is the freedom to act only for the glory of Him. And thus His judgement favors the right and good. And so it is that killing in the name of God is sometimes not murder when it is done in glory of Him. Humanity must exist for God’s glory, and since God has made Himself unknowable, for to know God is to know oneself, it is to His ordained ‘knowers’ that uncertain humanity comes. The ‘knowers’ persuade their followers that it is right and good that His enemies, the unbelievers, the infidels, the blasphemers, be eradicated for they do not live in His glory. They may only be forgiven if they come to their senses and believe.

The biblical fact is that humanity is made in the image of God. To be possessed by the spirit of the perfect God is now impossible, the first humans having been born flawed. If God is all that humanity was, is and will be, then an idea of God will always be possible. But if one examines oneself in his and her rawness, with honesty and with a quest for self knowledge that is ongoing until death, that person might rightly say they are made in the flawed image of God, and if bold, they are indeed God themselves. If this were so then the divide between believer and unbeliever would be nonexistent. Only God’s earthly authority would stand in the way. And how weak are they when closely examined; their creeds disarmed, their violence shrink-wrapped.

    Shalom.

    Dear Francis Bede

thank you very much for this lovely comment.

You write “By the way unbelievers do not exist for they can’t understand how these echoes are supposed to work.” and have us thinking that spiritually those unbelievers in God have not life in them. Naturally there are many folks running around who do not believe in a god, the God, nor in divine commandments or natural ethics.

No man is without sin, therefore every person should come to see what he or she is doing wrong. To recognise the wrong doing there has to be a measure tool. Those who do not know certain rules, laws or commandments can not be aware of not keeping them. A person has to know first the guidelines or laws to keep to before he can get to know if he if going against them. Once in the knowledge of good and bad he or she can come to see or understand he or she went wrong. Than that person with conscience has to react accordingly and has to feel guilt for the wrongdoing. Repentance has to be the following step.

God His love never changed and was not a love of the time before the New covenant and one after Jesus Christ. God has been always the same having no partiality constantly being love.

We in this condition shall not be able to get the same love as God and shall always be but a haze of a little shade of the image of God. But this should not hold us back to come to know the glory of God better and to work at our own character in the eyes of God, trying to please Him.

All being gifted with a form of ‘instinct’ should be able to see in those things around us, the Mighty Hand of the Most Superior Being who allows the things to be, gives life and takes life, according to His Plan.

Somehow we only can hope we do fit in that plan and that those who try to belong to God shall be blessed and receive the Grace of God, receiving the fruits of being partakers of the body of Christ.

That all who search for God may hear His Voice and find the Way to God, which is in Christ Jesus (Jeshua) our Messiah.

    God bless.
