Our Creed and Practice

On this platform you will find a view which receives its background from studying the Bible, the word of God or Holy Scriptures. That book of books should be the base for every searcher for God, everyone who wants to know more about God and commandments and everyone who wants to call himself a Christian.

Living in this world where many prefer to live without God we have chosen to be “out of this world“, perhaps not being liked by many, but preferring to being liked by the Most High Elohim, the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob in the knowledge that He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living, and life is what we are looking for. But we do not look just for an easy short life on this globe. We do know there is much more beyond this ‘worldly life’.

Those behind this website are searchers for the truth, who do not mind spending much time behind that one old library of 66 books, which is called the Bible. In it we can find many men of God, prophets who brought to us the Words from the Divine Creator. We do know the majority of the world is not interested in those old writings and less interested in the Maker of all things. But we do believe we all should come to understand Who is behind everything and who that Creator provided for the whole world.

We do believe everybody should hear that there is only one Most High All Mighty Lord God of gods. This Most High Power of all powers we do want to take as our “Lord of Lord of lords“. We also want to honour His Name, Jehovah, as the One Holy Name the whole world should get to know. For us that eternal Spirit is the One and Only Whom we shall love with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind, and with all our strength. This, we do want to follow up in the knowledge that it is the first commandment. Believing also that the second is like this:

You shall love your neighbour as yourself and that there is no other commandment greater than these.

Mar 12:29-30 NHEBJE  Jesus answered, “The first is, ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one:  (30)  you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’

We do believe God is one, and there is no other besides Him. On this site and in our life we do want to share our love for Him with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to show our love for you and our neighbours. We also want to follow God’s commandments to let others know what He wants, how He wants it, teaching not our words but the Words of God, asking you to see for yourself in your own Bible translation. Asking all that come along also to look up the Word of God and see for themselves, what is really written in the Book of books.

Deu 6:4-9 NHEBJE  Hear, Israel: Jehovah is our God, Jehovah is one.  (5)  And you shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.  (6)  These words, which I command you this day, shall be on your heart;  (7)  and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.  (8)  You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for symbols between your eyes.  (9)  You shall write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates.

We also want others to look, like us, to the one sent by God. We strongly believe we have received the Good News about Jesus Christ, the Son of God, which began as the prophet Isaiah had written:

“God said, ‘I will send my messenger ahead of you to open the way for you.’ (Mark 1:1-2)

Now we also do want to shout as the one shouting in the desert to:

“get the road ready for the Lord; making a straight path for him to travel!’ ” (Mark 1:3)

We ourselves want to turn away from our sins and love others to do the same and have them baptised. We strongly believe that John the Baptist his cousin whom he baptised in the Jordan River is the man who was to come after him, being much greater than him. None of us. not good enough even to bend down and untie his sandals.  We may baptise you and other people with water, but baptises with the Holy Spirit.

We strongly believe that that Jewish man, standing some two thousand years ago in the river Jordan, when he came out of the water was declared the son of God by the Most High Elohim Hashem Jehovah. We do believe wast that Voice coming from heaven said and believe that from then onwards the right time has come, having the Kingdom of God being near.

We all want to know that it is time to turn away from our sins and believe the Good News!

Mar 1:9-15 NHEBJE  It happened in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptised by John in the Jordan.  (10)  Immediately coming up from the water, he saw the heavens parting, and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.  (11)  A voice came out of the sky, “You are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased.”  (12)  Immediately the Spirit drove him out into the wilderness.  (13)  He was in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals; and the angels were serving him.  (14)  Now after John was taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the Good News of God,  (15)  and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is near! Repent, and believe in the Good News.”

Jesus commanded belief in that Gospel Message in contrast to much modern evangelism which often ignores Jesus’ Message about the Kingdom of God.

On this site we want to show the world who Jesus the Messiah really is and why we should follow his teachings, keeping to the same God Jesus has and praying in the way Jesus learned us to pray.
We only want to worship the same God Jesus worshipped and would like, as Jesus did not his will, to do the Will of God.

I note your version of the Bible has only 66 books – it would be even richer if it included the 7 taken out, that is: Tobit, Judith, 1st and 2nd Maccabees, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus and Baruch. I recommend reading them and then ponder why they were fine from the 4th until the 16th century when Luther chose to remove them. Incidentally, Luther also wanted to remove books from the New Testament. Was Luther anti-semetic?

Its nice you advice people to read the apocryphal books. I read them as well, like I also read the New Testament apocryphal books, like the gospels of Jude and Peter. I even made ballets on the Books of Ester, Judith and Ruth. The Book of Wisdom by Jesus Sirach I also like very much. But like the Greek Book of Daniel I and my community do not consider it to be part of the canonical Bible. This does not mean we can not use it in our teaching. When you would take a closer look at some of my other sites you will be able to find even quoting me from them at several occasions. Though I do agree most negative reactions do come from Anglo-Saxon protestant countries, in particular the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zeeland.

Too often it is overlooked that those books have some hidden treasures and are poetic jewels.
